- I am running for school board because I am absolutely passionate about education! I spent 29 years as a teacher, principal and Director of Human Resources in the schools, and I continue to look for opportunities to make a difference in children’s educational experiences.
“Kids First” is more than just a slogan to me. I believe wholeheartedly that we must consider the effect on kids when making decisions. This idea shapes my vision for the Liberty School District:
• The practice of “Kids First” drives every decision made.
• The district operates with integrity, transparency and full disclosure.
• The budget is streamlined without compromising student achievement.
I’m also excited about working to enhance communication among teachers, administrators, parents and the community at large. These aren’t easy tasks, but I truly love the opportunity to ask the right questions and be a catalyst for solving tough problems. It energizes me!
I would love to have your support on April 7th so we can make the Liberty School District the best it can be...for the kids!

unfortunately he doesn't seem too interested in chipotle. hopefully it will grow on him. :-) congrats.

Look out world...Brett Swanson has officially arrived if he's making rounds to Target:) And looks like Craig's got the hang of transporting the bundle of joy around:)
chipolte is a great place to take baby brett. Next time you should wrap him in a silver blanket so he looks like a little burrito - maybe that'll get you a free one!!!
